If you are a fan of the Isekai genre Anime series, then you must have heard or most probably watched the popular Japanese manga series, “KonoSuba”. The series is quite famous globally and very much loved by the fans and is based on a novel. The credit of writing such an amazing novel goes to Natsume Akatsuki while Kurone Mishima has illustrated this popular novel. So far, two seasons of the series has been released by the makers and both the two-season has gained immense popularity and the fans are eagerly waiting for the next sequel. The genre of the series is isekai, comedy and sorcery and sword.
The series is directed under the direction of Takaomi Kanasaki, while Rie Ogura has produced the series. The credit for writing the spectacular anime TV series goes to Makoto Uezu. Crunchyroll is the streaming partner of this series in North America. For the Australian viewers, the series is licensed by Madman Entertainment and for south Asian countries, the license for streaming is provided to Medialink.
The story of “KonoSuba” revolves around the character of Kazuma Sato, who died at an extremely young age. In his afterlife, he met a goddess Aqua who propose to give him a new life in a new alternate world, but this world would not be like any other normal world and in fact, it would have the characteristic of the MMORPG game.
Kazuma can fight and do battle with the deadly creatures in this world, but despite all these super-powerful abilities, he chooses the goddess Aqua to escort him to the world. The duo landed on Axel, however, Kazuma was feeling a little regretful to bring Aqua with her, as he now understood that Aqua is of no use to him. On the other side, the goddess is trapped with Kazuma and she can not return to the afterlife unless the Devil King is destroyed.
In order to fight back with the Devil King and to acquire her powers back, Aqua and Kazuma team up along with two other magicians, Darkness and Megumin, but they both have some sort of dysfunctionality. Kazuma feels hopeless and at one point, he even thought of giving up the notion of destroying the Devil King, but he, Goddess Aqua and his members fate and destiny all were intertwined with the King Devil. The fans are desperately waiting for “KonSuba Season 3”. However, so far, the makers of the series have not officially announced the release date but it is highly anticipated that by the end of 2022 or at the starting of 2023, the chances are likely that the third season will release soon.
