Marty quickly relocates his parents from the Chicago area of Naperville to the isolated summer hotel society of Osage Beach in Missouri. When the Byrdes appear in Missouri, they become entangled with social offenders, involving the Langmore and Snell parents, and following the Kansas City Mafia.
