Grand Premiere! POW Bandi Yudh Ke 7th November 2016 Written Updates 1st Episode :- The upcoming TV show POW – Bandi Yudh Ke is all set to have a grand launch from tonight which is a war drama and it directed by the Bollywood movie director Nikhil Advani. The new show is all set to have gone on air at Star Plus features Purab Kohli, Satyadeep Mishra, Sandhya Mridul and Amrita Puri are in lead roles.
Inspired by Israeli show Hatifum, POW is a story about two prisoners of war who were falsely trapped by the Pakistani Army after the 1999 Kargil War. The duo is somehow comeback in their country as they successfully break the war of prison in the Pakistan.
The show moves back then and showcases the trouble these two prisoners of war faced in the foreign country and how they deal with it. The story will be also focusing their journey as a prisoner of war aka POW.
Purab and Satyadeep will be seen playing the role of an Indian Army Jawan and Indian Air Force officer, respectively and it is the show is already giving goose bumps to the fans anyway. Fans are now just having a literally butterfly in the stomach to see the serial.
POW – Bandi Yudh Ke is already talk of the town since it is launched followed by the release of its teaser and trailer all are well received by the audiences and now the show is all set to hit the big screen. It is Star Plus approached
It is Star Plus approached Nikhil Advani after watching his last film D-Day, to direct a show based on the similar plotline for their channel. Star Plus had him watch both Hatufim and its American counterpart Homeland. Advani thinks to make a show like the Israel drama Hatufim as American drama Homeland will unable to connect with the Indian audiences.
P.O.W.-Bandi Yuddh Ke is Nikhil Advani’s first directorial venture in television and he said to media regarding his debut on TV that, “This show brings together two absolutely diverse realities, life in prison and life with family. On the one hand, you have torture or the worst kind and the other family bonding and romantic love. POW Bandi Yuddh Ke covers that and the ground between. I hope the audience connects with this show”.

The 126 episode finite series is set to launch on Star Plus from November 7, 2016, at 10.30 Monday to Saturday.
