Rajinikanth’s 2.0 becomes the costlier movie than Prabhas’ Baahubali 2 : The country India with the population of 2.1 billion is all set to witness two of big movies in the year 2017. We are talking about Rajinikanth starer “Robot 2.0” and Prabhas starer “Baahubali 2.”It was believed that there is a serious competition between these two movies and especially in South movie industry, the fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the movie. The first editions of both these movies were the superhit and did a terrific business at the box offices, especially the Bahubali.
This forced the experts and the people to believe that Baahubali 2 will be the costliest movie of the entire Hindi film industry, but the recent reports say that Robot 2.0 will be the India’s most expensive film ever made at a jaw-dropping Rs 350 cr making.
On the other side, Baahubali 2 is prepared at the cost of the Rs. 250 cr. Although, the reports did not surprise the experts and the people as it features two mega stars of Hindi cinema Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth. Akshay Kumar charges around 45 crore Rupees for this movie where he is playing the main villain role.
The legendary actor, Rajinikanth has charged around 70 crores for the movie. Also, numbers of the scenes have been picturised with the help of international technology and experts to go with the other movie expenses.
Meanwhile, Amul Mohan, Trade analyst informed media wing that ” We, in Mumbai, are struggling to make movies at a fraction of that amount. “I have heard that the budget of 2.0 is Rs 350 crore. It’s a big statement of intent from the South industry. But the budget of 2.0 makes sense as the first film was a worldwide success. And when Rajinikanth teams up with Akshay Kumar, you always know it is going to be a bigger player.”
Although, he further added that looking at the Hollywood film industry this amount is nothing. The makers of both the movie are expecting a lot from their respective projects. Baahubali 2 will hit the theater on April 2017, and Robot 2.0 will hit the theater on Diwali 2017.
