The popular superhero, black comedy, thriller, and satire-based television series, “The Boys” is stated to be back with a new spin-off to thrill and amuse the audience one more time. After learning about this good news, the fans of the same are enthusiastically waiting for this much-waited season of “The Boy Season 3”, and at the same time, they are eager to know more about the same including what will be happening in this new season, and who will be featuring this time. The craze of this TV series is humongous and why would not it be, it has such a fantastic theme and concept, that any person who loves to watch thriller drama accompanied by a superhero element would love to watch it.
The American superhero TV series, “The Boys 3” is originally a television adaptation based on a comic book with the same name, written by Darick Robertson and Garth Ennis, and was reported to be primarily published by DC Comics under the imprint named, “Wildstorm Imprint”. Thereafter it moved to Dynamite Entertainment. The series is developed by Eric Kripke and composed by Christopher Lennertz.
As of now, two seasons have been released on the original network of Amazon Prime Video and were produced by Hartely Gorenstein, Nick Barrucci, and Gabriel Garcia under the production banner of Sony Pictures Television, Amazon Studios, Point Grey Pictures, Kripke Enterprises, and Orginal Film.
The Boys Season 3 Plot
The plot of the TV series, “The Boys” revolves around a universe where individuals who carry superhuman abilities are respected and considered as the guardian of the general public. These superhuman beings are recruited by an influential corporation named, “Vought International”. “The Seven” is led by the self-centered and vicious Homlander aka John. Under the sheets, there are many dark hidden secrets, but the above of them all is that most of the superheroes in this group are corrupt and pompous.
They are like a wolf in sheep clothing, who are idealized by the normal public, but in reality, they are not even worthy of this, as there are hands are not clean. To stop them, “The Boys” group was formed by Billy Butcher, who hates all the superpowered beings and the purpose of this group is to bring down Vought’s corporation, especially, “The Seven” and its corrupted superheroes.
The Boys Season 3 Cast & Release Date
Well, it has been said that most of the cast of this television series, “The Boys Season 3” will be reprising their role which means that Karl Urban will once again be appearing in the role of William Butcher aka Billy, while, Anonty Starr will once again reprising his role of John aka Homelander in the series.
Erin Moriarty will be playing the role of Annie January aka Starlight, while, Jessie T. Usher will once again appear in the role of Reggie Franklin aka A-Train. The third season of “The Boys” is reported to be in the developing stage right now and as of now, no official release date has been confirmed by the makers.
