The cause of his death was a cardiac arrest and he was at his residence in Guntur, situated in Andhra Pradesh when he passed away.

So far, the initial reports are suggesting that this well-known actor died due to cardiac arrest early morning on Tuesday. According to the TV 9 reports, on Tuesday morning Jayaprakash collapsed in his bathroom because of the cardiac arrest and couldn’t survive the attack.

Jaya Prakash Reddy was born on 10 October 1946 in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. In his early acting career, he first performed as the theatre actor but soon Jayaprakash made his acting debut in the Telugu film named Brahmaputrudu. However, his breakthrough in the Telugu film industry was after the release of Venkatesh starrer Preminchukundam Raa. In that movie he gained a lot of appreciation for his acting and great performance.
He was also known by JP by the fans and Telugu film industry and was popularly known for his villain and comedy characters. His roles in the films Jayam Manade Raa and Chennakesava Reddy as a villain were widely appreciated.
