The British comedy-drama “Sex Education” became a critical success when it was initially released on Netflix on 11th January 2019. It was later renewed for the second season the same year and was premiered on 17th January 2020. Both the seasons of the series were not only critically acclaimed but also was a commercial success for Netflix. Sex Education Season 3 Premiere Date
Last year (2020) on 10th February, Netflix has officially renewed the show for its third season. The shooting for the series was undergoing last year but due to Covid-19 pandemic, its production got delayed. As per to the latest report of TechRadar, the filming of Sex Education Season 3 has been completed. If this report is accurate then this season must be currently under post production and will be ready to get premiered anytime soon. As of now, nothing is made official regarding the release date of Sex Education Season 3 but it is likely to be officially announced soon. Till then, it is expected that the third season may possibly get released in few months in this year only.

The Sex-Comedy, Teen Drama series “Sex Education” is created by Laurie Nunn that stars Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, and Connor Swindells in the lead roles. As of now, there are two seasons of the Sex Education and both were released on Netflix. The first season of the series was released back in 2019 (January 11) and the second series on January 2020.
The storyline of first series revolves around Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield), an anxious teenager who is indecisive about sex. His mother Dr Jean Milburn (Gillian Anderson) is a well-known sex therapist. In this season, Otis along with his friend Maeve (Emma Mackey) started a sex advice clinic together for helping their fellow students to discuss and understand their sexual issues. In the second season of the series, we saw Otis finally gets into a relationship with Ola but hit by reality and stresses of a high school romance.
Asa Butterfield who plays the lead character of the series i.e. Otis Milburn, stated that the viewers are going to see some big change in the third season. The third season will be very different from what you have seen in the first and second seasons of Sex Education. Otis has now come back in his school but his character and mood is quite different from the previous seasons. He is now more grown-up but still remains an awkward fella in the third season.
