There’s a big fan base of anime shows all around the world that eagerly wait for a new animation series arrival. Almost every animated show of all the genres is capable of gaining a lot of attention which makes these shows a big hit. However, there’s huge demand of action genre anime shows which instantly and very easily fetch a lot of attention of the audience.
There are many popular streaming platforms that are recognising the huge fame of anime series and are releasing these on their platform to attract more viewers. Among many other such platforms, the very popular streaming site, Netflix, has also launched many anime series on their site for streaming such as Naruto, BoJack Horseman, Samurai Champloo, among many. Recently, the giant streaming site has released a new anime show ‘Yasuke’ on its platform which has attracted many viewers across the world.
Yasuke Season 2 Renewed for Season 2?
The first season of Yasuke was released on Netflix on 29th April 2021 and became an instant hit, popularly among the anime enthusiasts. Yasuke is the original animation anime series of Netflix which is based on an ancient figure of the same name. Yasuke, a historic figure, was an African descent warrior and worked under Japanese daimyo Oda Nobunaga in 16th century Japan throughout the Sengoku period of samurai battle.
The series is created by LeSean Thomas along with that the animated work is done by Japanese animation studio MAPPA. LaKeith Stanfield is casted as the titular character for this anime series. The anime series ‘Yasuke’ is produced by Matthew Shattuck while it is made under the direction of LeSean Thomas and Takeru Satō. The series was released on 29th April 2021 on Netflix, however, there is no such update regarding the renewal of its second season. As the series has just released at the end of the last month, it is expected that the announcement of its second season may be made in upcoming few weeks.
Yasuke Season 2 Release Date
As of now, Yasuke has not been renewed officially and Netflix has also not made any update regarding the same. The first season featured six episodes in total which was aired on the same day i.e. on April 29. The title of Yasuke (season 1) episode one is “Ronin” which is followed by “The Old Way”, “Mortal Sins”, “The Long Road”, “Pain & Blood”, and “Balance” respectively.
If the second season of Yasuke is going to renew then Netflix or maker of this anime series will most probably make an official announcement after few weeks. However, looking at the previous trend of Yasuke season one, it is expected that Yasuke may return with season 2 in Spring 2022 or in early 2023. But it is not confirmed and we have to wait for an official update. Once Yasuke season 2 is officially confirmed, we will update it right away.
