Delhi Police has deployed over 50,000 Paramilitaries Forces and Reserve Forces at every corner of Delhi because of Farmers Protest which is going to be started in the Delhi region. The farmers have decided to do “Chakka Jaam” on Delhi’s road. The security is being tightened in NCR. On the other side, due to the security reason, many of Delhi’s Metro Station has been closed for a while.
Farmers Chakka Jam Live Updates
The farmer’s protest or called “Chakka Jaam” is scheduled to be started from 12 Noon to 3 PM on Saturday. The Samyukta Kisan Morcha, the farmer’s group is protesting against a new law related to their farms. Protestors will gonna behold “Chakka Jaam” peacefully and invited all countrymen to join them at 3 PM by honking their vehicles continuously for one minute. Congress is also supporting this “Chakka Jaam” in NCR.
Metro Station Service and Exit/Entry Gates Closed
Many metro station services and their entry/exit gates have been closed including Vishwavidyalaya, Lal Quila, Jama Masjid, Delhi Gate, ITO, Nehru Place, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, Khan Market, and Janpath. This metro station has closed for the next Government order. The farmers are going to protest against the new farm’s law.
SECURITY ESCALATE IN NCR
We have seen on the Republic Day’s violence in Delhi. The Police have done more preparation including tightening security and forces across the city and at the border points. Also, some paramilitary forces have been deployed at some important points of the National Capital including the Income Tax Office (ITO) and Red Fort, which was a violent area on January 26 during the Tractor parade by the protestors. On the 26th of January, over 600 police officers were injured at the moment and some protestors died. Police are also monitoring the situation by using Drones.
Petrol Pumps and Roads Blocked At Tikri Border
Along with this, the Petrol and Diesel authorities has ordered to shut all 6 petrol pumps at Singhu Border and 5 pumps at Tikri Border are closed.
It can be seen that there are No Sales around the border because many car showrooms, factories, shops, and many things are closed near the area and that’s why the people are facing lots of problems as well. These things are happening for the last 2 months. They are facing expenses like salary, electric bills, and many other things.
To block the roads, Multilayered barricades, barbed wires, and nails have been put on the roads to stop them. Also, there are lots of forced to stop them and don’t dare to come ahead.
