Fourteen kids Among 53 Hospitalised With COVID-19 in Delhi Latest News Updates!

As per the reports, Delhi reported 366 people to be infected by the Covid-19 virus last Friday. Friday, 15th April 2022, it was recorded that the positivity rate in the testing of Covid-19 has increased to 3.95 per cent. This has surged a serious concern for not only the government of Delhi but also the people of Delhi. The Directorate of Education has issued a new notice explaining the new guidelines for the students in Delhi.

Although the Delhi government had expressed that there would be no cause of concern for the people in Delhi yet the government has become worried after noticing this surge in the positivity rate as well as the comorbid children and aged people in Delhi. As a result, Manish Sisodia has expressed his viewpoints and the further expected planning of the Delhi Government.

“Manish Sisodia” the Deputy Chief Minister in Delhi has stated in a press conferance that closing schools would be the last option. A partial closure would be implemented in Delhi if required. New 52 cases have been recorded who are requiring hospitalization. As a result, they are admitted to the hospital. Out of the 53 patients, 14 patients are students who are children. Out of the 14 children, 13 children have been admitted to the Kalawati Saran Hospital in Delhi.

The primary concern is that most of the students are suffering from comorbidities. The children were admitted to the Kalawati Saran Hospital on Saturday morning, 16th April 2022. The doctors confirmed that most of the admitted children are comorbid as they are suffering from multiple medical problems. Their medical condition was already shattered and the infection has put their medical condition decayed than before.
