Well, as per the reports, in Hyderabad Police seized 16 tonnes PDS rice and arrested two people for it. Also, the sources are saying that Task Force officials arrested one Mohammed Arif, 52, and his son Mohammed Imran, 32, and seized their lorry containing 16 tonnes of rice meant for the public distribution system, on Monday.
Reports are coming that these guys were arrested because they are illegally selling the public distribution system’s rice in the market. Also, the reports are saying that they both are already set with this and were loading the rice at the garage of Akber Travels in Bahadurpura. Also, the sources are saying that during the time of loading South Zone Task Force team raided the garage and arrested them both.

Also, the Additional DCP, Commissioner’s Task Force, C. Shashidhar Raju said: “Arif was habituated to procuring PDS rice and selling it at higher prices.” Also, the said, “They are currently investigating the case and will found out more information about this in upcoming days.”
Well, till now we can say that a big and positive step is taken by the task force teams and they really did great work. As you all know that PDS rice is the subsidy rice which is given by the government to the people so everyone can eat simply needed food every day.
