A very shocking and harsh accident happened on Interstate 95 near Edgewater where around least three people passed away after meeting with the crashes in which around a dozen of vehicles were involved and happened on the early morning of Friday. I 95 Volusia County Accident
The accident happened on Interstate 95 near Edgewater in the early morning of Friday where a fatal crash has been reported and the officials assured that five separate crashes occurred at the same time overnight in Volusia County during a blanket of dense fog. As per the statement of the police officials and the Florida Highway Patrol, there was one crash southbound indulging six vehicles along with four separate crashes northbound indulging 11 vehicles and in this serious crash, semi-trucks were also involved.
The accident was too dangerous and harsh and is under investigation by the police officials and FHP and they stated in an official statement about the accident that there were three fatalities at the scene of the crashes. Two people died on the southbound side of I-95, and one person was killed on the northbound side. Multiple people, including children, were transported to area hospitals. One child was airlifted to Arnold Palmer Hospital in stable condition.
After that, the police officials identified the persons as a 51-year-old Hialeah man along with a semi-truck driver who is a 54-year-old Titusville man and a 25-year-old female passenger who passed away in the accident. After the I 95 Volusia County Accident, the lanes were shut down in both directions in the New Smyrna Beach-Edgewater area remains closed Thursday as FDOT crews work to repair road damages.
