The International Champions Cup (ICC) is basically a pre-season tournament which is organised every single summer since the year 2013. It is a series of friendly games that has been played between European heavyweights. For the last three years, the International Champions Cup has been divided into total of three different regions such as the United States, China as well as Australia in the year 2016 and the United States, China and Singapore in 2017 as well as 2018.

This year, there is total number of 12 teams who are going to participate in the tournament. The competitors of last year’s International Champions Cup such as Man City, Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain are not taking part in this year edition.
International Champions Cup ranking 2019
This year, some of the Europe’s biggest sides such as Real Madrid, Bayern, Arsenal, Fiorentina, Juventus and Inter are also taking part this summer across a slew of nations around the world.
The first match of the tournament was held on July 16 between Fiorentina and Guadalajara, where Fiorentina won with 2-1 goals. The final match of International Champions Cup is going to be held in Sweden on August 10 between European powerhouses Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

These total 12 teams are going to be ranked on the basis of the results from their three matches. the team which is going to play the best and will be ranked as the top team will be crowned as champions. In addition, there will be three points allotted for a win and none for a loss, a penalty shoot-out win will also receive two points, while on the other hand a loss on penalties is going to gain one point.
