J&K Attack 5 Suspected Militants 2 Terrorists Killed Check Name & Images

In the Bijbehara area, an on-going encounter has eliminated two terrorists on April 11 (Sunday) by the Indian Security forces. The encounter broke out in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir late night on Saturday between the security forces and terrorists. These two terrorists who were killed today were involved in the brutal killing of an Army Jawan yesterday.

However, the search operation is not ended yet and the Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF (Indian Security forces) are still conducting encounters in search of more terrorists hiding in the area. In the last three days, a search operation is underway in which the Indian security forces have eliminated 12 terrorists in total. Out of these three terrorists was killed in Shopian, while two were killed in Bijbehara and the additional two terrorists was killed in Anantnag.

Kashmir Zone police in a recent tweet said, “Bijbehara Encounter Update: Both terrorists killed”, it further added that the search operation still going on. “Further updates shall follow”.

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar told ANI that these two terrorists that are killed today in the encounter by the Indian Security forces were responsible for the killing of Territorial Army jawan on April 10. He further added that these terrorists have been neutralised within two days after Bijbehara encounter.

The security forces have launched a cordon and search operation on Saturday after they received some inputs regarding the presence of militants in the area. After this the search and encounter was started on Saturday and many militants were killed in separate operations in exchange of fire that carried on till late evening.

The shootout was taken up again this morning on Sunday and in the exchange of fire, the two terrorists involved in the killing of Army Jawan were eliminated by the Indian security forces. A search operation is still going on in the area.

Dilbagh Singh, who is the current Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police has states that both of the terrorists who were killed today were active for a long time and were actively involved in many terror cases and crimes. He further added in his statement that there have been total numbers of 12 terrorists who have been killed in four different search operations since past 72 hours in the area. The operation has leaded in killing all the terrorists involved in terror outfit named Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGH) in the valley.
