Kangana Ranaut's Twitter Account Permanently Suspended

You all must be thinking about what exactly happened that led Twitter to permanently suspend the account of the actress. Well, as we all aware of the fact that on 2nd May 2021, the result of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly election were out and with an extremely great margin, AITC leader, Mamata Banerjee won the 2021 assembly election by 213 seats while NDA only gained victory in 77 seats out of 294 and this way Mamata Banerjee became the Chief Minister of West Bengal for three times in a row.

However, it seemed like Actress Kangana Ranaut was not happy about the result and to showcase her unhappiness, the actress took over her Twitter handle and started doing tweets after tweets. Some of her tweets are quite offensive and violating. In one of the tweet, the actress made some nasty and offensive remarks on the CM of West Bengal. The actress accused Mamata Banerjee government of violence.

In one of the tweets, the actress stated that the assembly election in Assam and Puducherry took place peacefully and without any disturbance, while in West Bengal, hundred and thousands of innocent people were murdered. The actress was indirectly accusing that not a single case of murder, killing or any other kind of disturbance was reported in the states where BJP won, whereas, the state where TMC won witnessed murder and violence. She used hashtags such as, “#Bengaliburning” in her tweet and also targetted Congress and also made remarks on Indira Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru.

However, Kangana took to her Twitter handle again and demanded the rule of President in the West Bengal. Kangana Ranaut’s comments were extremely offensive. Twitter accused Kangana of breaking the rules and code of conduct of microblog and therefore, the microblogging and social networking site, Twitter discontinued the actress twitter account permanently.
