The infamous mastermind behind the Kanpur shootout Vikas Dubey is known for hiding his identity and turning a situation in his favour where he can’t be found or blamed. Soon after the Kanpur shootout, his family members and closed relatives stated that he might have been hiding somewhere in disguise where he can’t be found. He might have disguised himself as a farmer, a watchman or as a matter of fact anything in which he can’t be identified as Vikas Dubey. He had disguised himself in the past on several occasions so that he can’t found by the police. In a news coming up, a case has been filed against Vikas Dubey and his brother Deep Prakash Dubey in Lucknow, Krishna Nagar, in attempt of forced robbery.
On Sunday, Bithoor’s SHO Kalshendra Pratap said that ” My team went to Vikas Dubey’s house on 2nd and 3rd July at around 12:30am to find proofs and to seal the apartment. We parked our vehicles nearby and started approaching the house on foot. There was a JCB parked at the place. As soon as we got closer to the apartment, a series of gun firing started on us. In all this choas, we were not able to focus on the target, as the firing was happening from around the terrace and it was difficult for us to focus on anyone at that time.”

Before this, for the case of murder of 8 police constables, one of the follower of the main suspect Vikas Dubey was arrested on Sunday in a riot in Kalyanpur. Upper Police superintendent Anil Kumar said that, the follower of Dubey, Dayashankar Agnihotri was arrested from Kalyanpur in an encounter with the police. He was shot in the leg and was admitted in the Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital. He has a price money of Rs 25,000 on his head, for whoever gets him.
The suspect which has now been arrested also got a chance to talk to the media where he said that, ” on the night of 2nd and 3rd July, before the incident which took place in Bikru village, Vikas Dubey received a phone call. Soon after that he called out his friends to fight with the police.”
