A recent sexual assault allegations from model-turned artiste have got at least a dozen people from Indian film and entertainment industry into a big controversy. Among other alleged accusers, the most popular name that is hitting headlines is of Jackky Bhagnani, who is a well-known Indian actor and producer. However, many prominent names have been included in the alleged sexual assault complaint by the former model.
The 28-year-old woman who is also currently working as a songwriter has filed the sexual assault allegations on at least a dozen people, including Jackky Bhagnani. The woman has also approached the Andheri Police in order to file a FIR complaint against the alleged accusers. It has been reported that she had approached the police on May 10, 2021 while her statement was recorded on May 18, after which she filed her complaint at Andheri Police station.
Maheshwar Reddy, who is the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Zone 10, has got this matter after which he has asked a police officer to file the complaint. On the orders from DCP, the woman has recorded her statement at Andheri Police station on May 18. As now, the sexual assault complaint has been lodged, the matter is now forwarded to the Bandra Police station where DCP Zone 9 will be taking this case and will follow the further investigation.
As per to the recent report, most of the alleged sexual assault incidents has been allegedly took place from the year 2013 to 2019 and it falls under the Bandra jurisdiction. Therefore, the case has been forwarded to the DCP Zone 9 of Bandra Police station.
The reason this case might be a high-profile investigation due to the alleged involvement of many prominent names that have been named in this sexual assault case. A FIR has been filed against Jaccky Bhagnani (actor & producer), Krishan Kumar (Key people from T-Series), Vishnu Induri (Producer), Anirban Blah (Co-founder of Kwan Entertainment), Ajit Thakur (CEO of Aha app), Nikhil Kamat (Co-founder of Zerodha), Colston Juian (photographer), and few more.
The model has also stated in her complaint that the names that are provided in the FIR has been allegedly sexually assaulting her from the past few years. In a long post on social media that the model posted in April, she wrote that all these sexual assault incidents took place from 2013 and were continued till 2019. She also said that initially FIR was against only nine alleged accusers because police denied to file any complaint against the incidents that were happened outside Mumbai area. After which she met DCP Dr Maheshwar Reddy (Zone 10) on 1st April 2021 and the FIR was finally lodged on May 26, 2021, the model said.
