The player who grabs and earned the gold for the country is Neeraj Chopra who wins the Gold for the country on 7th August 2021 and made the whole country proud and now, for recognising the day the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) stated from next year 7th August 2021 will be marked as National Javelin Day. The news goes viral on the internet and everyone praised the AFI for doing this because the sports in India is not so appreciated by which the count of gold is lesser for the country and other countries are collecting several of golds for the country. With this step, there will surely be an encouragement for sports in India.
On 7th August 2021, the Indian player Neeraj Chopra made history after grabbing a gold medal for the country at Tokyo Olympics and in the game, he did an incredible performance which makes them all the Indian proud and amongst all the competitors he performed very well and grab the gold by delivering a score number of 87.58 in Javelin Throw. Now, for remembering this day the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) decided to celebrate this day as National Javelin Day.
In the statement of AFI they stated that to support javelin throw pan-India, we will rejoice 7th August 2021 as National Javelin Day and from several upcoming years in every state of India the javelin throw game will be played in every school and grounds for supporting the Jvellin throw game in India and to support the athletes to play in the Olympic for more gold and silver along with Bronze for the country and made the country proud with their incredible talent and skills in the sports field and all the information is stated by the Lalit Bhanot who is the AFI Planning Commission chairman.
The Javelin throw game was established in AFI in the year 2018 and the third edition of the game will be accommodated in the month of October this year. This is very a good step in the field of sports for encouraging all the sport in India and for this, we all have to concentrate on all the sports and games to made our country proud.
