As per the announcement of NortonLifeLock, there is a need for this feature in the antivirus software because it will decrease the risk that mining by the users and the computer because many users download “unvetted” crypto trading application that causes malware and can be used for snatching the users earning.
Currently, the Norton Crypto Software allows mining for Ethereum within the safest environment and according to the company, it stops users to open and download this kind of devices and pages as well. There is a Norton crypto wallet for users that can be used to transfer their profit cryptocurrency and manage the transactions also. However, the wallet stores all the data in the cloud so, the risk of the hard drive failure will not affect this and your data will be saved. However, the new features of mining in Norton360, will not be available for free and users will be charged for it. The company is planning to charge a fee for mining on the software and also, additional fee for transferring your cryptocurrency to another wallet. Well, the company did not share the details of the price.
