Odisha Farmer Built Electric Vehicle Powered By Solar Panel During Pandemic Check Name Bio & Wiki

A farmer named Sushil Agarwal in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha build an electric car generated by Solar Panels. During the pandemic, when the whole nation was under lockdown, he got the idea of building a four-wheeler car that can operate on Solar energy. The car that Sushil build is an electric vehicle, which means that it can operate without using fuel. While many of us were complaining about the lockdown and were waiting for it shut down, Sushil used this opportunity to polish his skills and create a car that can run and operate using a solar-powered battery.Odisha farmer builds electric car powered by solar panels

Talking about the key features of this brand car, the car is powered by a motor of 850 Watts and has a battery of 100Ah or 54 Volts capacity and can run for about 300 km after one single charge. One can also charge the battery in about 8 and a half hour and then use it. According to Sushil, Batteries that have slow charging have a long-lasting life compared to others. The solar-powered battery will be able to last for ten years.

As per Sushil, he has a workshop near his home. When everything halted because of the pandemic, and the government implemented lockdown, he started working on his dream project. Sushil also wanted to create his own four-wheeler car, someday and this lockdown came as an opportunity for him. He also said that every small detailing whether it was the winding of motor or electrical fitting and framing and all everything was done by him and with the support of two other engineers.

It’s been three months in the structuring and everything and the car is still in its initial stage. According to Sushil, he started to gather each part one by one in order to build his own four-wheeler vehicle. He said, that the government imposed a lockdown, Sushil already anticipated that after the lockdown would be revoked the price of fuel would touch sky rising price. So, therefore he came up with the idea of building a car that can run on solar energy. Sushil is a framer by profession and without any qualification in technical line, he builds the car.

He watched Youtube and read many books regarding this, in order to construct the vehicle. Mayurbhanj Regional Transport Officer, Gopal Krishna Das appreciated Sushil and said that he is delighted to know that Sushil made an effort to manufacture and composed a vehicle that can be operated by the solar battery during the period of lockdown. A solar-powered battery is good, as it will emit no pollution which is good for the environment and will reduce global warming. We should appreciate and motivate people like Sushil Agarwal and others who have the capability to change the world with their innovative ideas. For the more latest update, stay tuned with us.
