The popular TV actor of India, Pearl V Puri was alleged of raping a minor at the film set in Vasal in the year 2019 and thus, an FIR has been registered by the victim’s father at the Waliv Police station, and later on 4th June 2021, the actor was arrested from his residence by the Mumbai Police. The Waliv Police has filed a complaint against the actor under several sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and thereafter, the actor was transferred to the Thane Jail and is kept under the legal custody of the police. However, later many celebrities from showbiz including Ekta Kapoor, and Divya Khosla came forward and supported the actor.
Ekta Kapoor in fact went all over and claimed that someone is trying to defame the actor by falsely alleging him for something he never did. However, one of the police officials who is inspecting teh case of Puri has revealed that the charges on the actors are extremely severe and they also have certain proofs and testimony from the victim that clearly highlights the direct involvement of the actor in the case. As of matter fact, a couple of days ago, the DCP of Mumbai revealed that the victim’s mother used to work on the set of the Vasal and therefore, she used to accompany her daughter with her even during work hours.
This is how the five-year-old victim and actor Puri met each other for the first time. However, Ekta Kapoor and others are still in support of the actors and in fact, two days ago, the actor was supported by Nia Sharma openly and urged everyone not to judge the actor without any solid evidence, however, later we saw Devoleena Bhattacharjee was seen supporting the girl instead of the actor and reprimanded others for playing all dirty and accusing a little girl. It has been reported that the Puri went to the Vasai Court on 7th June 2021 and appealed for bail in the court, however, the hearing of the same was adjourned and was later scheduled for 12th June 2021.
However, seems likes the court is in no hurry to grant bail to the actor, as the Vasai Court has now postponed the hearing and has further shifted the hearing to 15th June 2012, that, is on Tuesday. Moreover, this news has been confirmed by Sanjay Patil and it looks like the actor has to wait for three more days. As of now, many shocking revelations have taken place in the case and it looks like, more revelation is waiting on their way.
