A middle-aged man from Bhopal has been arrested for the horrible acts that he was practising for the past year. According to the reports, he was involved in assaulting and raping his own daughter for more than one year. His daughter is a minor and is currently in her teens.

The victim was raped by his father when she was at her grandparents’ home which is located in the Govindpura area. The incident took place on February 28 and after realising what happened to her daughter, the mother of the victim approached the police to lodge an FIR against his husband on the charges of rape.
After getting the report, the police immediately arrested the accused and held him at the Jehangirabad police station. The victim is a teenager and is currently studying in the sixth standard. At the time of questioning, she revealed some shocking details to the police and informed them that this is not the first time that his father has done such a horrible act. She has been rapped by his father multiple times and the first time was a year ago when her mother went out for work.
Another disturbing part about this incident is that her siblings who are younger than her, were also present at the home when the accused committed such a terrible crime for the first time with his daughter, as per to the police report.
The victim’s grandmother passed away recently, so she was moved to her grandfather’s house for some time, but his father again went to the grandparents’ house in an intoxicated state on February 28 and again raped the teen girl.
The victim was terrified yet again and feared that this nightmare would start all over again. She then approached her mother for the first time and revealed everything that happened to her. On hearing the truth the mother confronted her husband, but instead of feeling any guilt, the father thrashed the two after which the mother and daughter approached the police for help.
In her statement to the police, the victim told them that after she was rapped she did not talk about her suffering and nightmares to anyone for over a year as she was afraid that her father would be arrested after that.
As of now, the police have said that the medical examination of the victim has confirmed that she has been raped and the accused has now been now arrested and further proceeding will take place from now on.
