The very popular aerospace manufacturer & space transportation services company “SpaceX”, has made a recent announcement on Tuesday that will bring revolution to the space missions across the world. The company took to Twitter and made an announcement regarding its very first commercial astronaut space mission to orbit Earth.

SpaceX, which has been founded by the Billionaire Elon Musk in the year 2002, was started with an objective of reducing the costs of space transportation in order to facilitate the colonization of Mars but now it is achieving many great heights. Their upcoming operation is said to be a mission that will let the common people to travel to the space, as said by the company. As of now, this project has been referred to as ‘Inspiration4’.

‘Inspiration4’ is going to be the very first commercial astronaut mission in the worlds that will send its spacecraft to the orbit.  In this project, four commercial astronauts are going to take part who will take-off the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule to the space.

The capsule is going to orbit Earth every 90 minutes alongside a personalised flight path throughout this expedition. As of now, this 1st commercial astronaut mission to orbit Earth i.e. ‘Inspiration4’ is scheduled for the launch in the fourth quarter of this year in 2021.

In addition to that, Jared Isaacman, who is the founder and CEO of Shift4 Payments has sais to be donating three seats together with him aboard Dragon to the people from the general public. However, the names of these people are not yet announced but in the upcoming weeks, these names will be made public.

As soon as these commercial astronauts are selected for the mission, they will have to first go through the training program set up by SpaceX. Their training will take place on the Falcon 9 launch vehicle and Dragon spacecraft. The crew who will participate at Inspiration4 mission are also going to be trained in orbital system, and zero gravity.  Along with that, they will be operating in microgravity separately from additional stress testing forms.

On Tuesday, Elon Musk’s private company SpaceX stated that the astronauts are going through “emergency preparedness training”. Along with that they are learning spacesuit and spacecraft entrance and way out exercises, and also the partial and complete mission models.

In addition to making the announcement of this upcoming mission, SpaceX also tweeted that this mission is going to let “everyday people” access to go to the space, who dream to go there.
