Well, you all may know that Plastic is one of the most dangerous things for our environment as well as for the other living things in a certain way. Reports are coming that the Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday announced that they are going to ban the manufacture and use of several plastic products in states from the 1st January 2019. You all should know that not all types of plastics will be banned because some plastic bags can be used for packing milk, curd, oil, and medicines.
Well, as per the reports, the Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami made the announcements about this issue on the occasion of the World Environment Day. Also, the CM said that they wanted the cooperation of people and traders in implementing this ban in the state. Overall, you can say that this whole mission is incomplete without the help of people and it really needed that they cooperate.
Overall, according to the Palaniswami the biggest reason of Pollution is dumping of use and throws plastic and that can cause a lot of major problems for the environment. Since these dumped plastic products prevent rainwater from percolating deeper into the soil and recharge groundwater levels. You all should know that this ban is going to work out for you for sure. Palaniswami said, “Hence, to ensure a better and pollution-free environment for our next generation, the statement hereby bans the manufacture and use of such plastic products from January 1, 2019.”
