UPPSC (Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission) is a state agency which is authorized to conduct the Civil services examinations for entry-level appointments to various civil services of Uttar Pradesh. It is going to conduct UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam 2018 on 28th October in 29 districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, Meerut, Allahabad, Kanpur, Sitapur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Agra etc. UPPSC has released their admit cards for PCS (Provincial Civil Service) General/Special, ACF (Assistant Conservators of forests) and RFO (Range Forest Officer) Combined Preliminary Examination 2018.
UPPSC PCS Prelims Admit Card 2018
The official website of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is uppsc.up.nic.in. Students can view or download their admit card from this official site of UPPSC.
Exams are going to be held in two sessions, one is the morning shift that is from 9:30am to 11:30am and the second one will be held in the afternoon shift that is from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
Steps to download the admit card UPPSC Prelims 2018 are:
- Visit the official website of UPPSC –http://uppsc.up.nic.in/
- Click on the link “admit card download” in the important alerts section on the top homepage.
- Enter your registration number, date of birth and gender.
- Click “Download the admit Card.”
- Download your admit card, take a printout and save it.
Candidates must bring their admit card to the examination center, without admit card permission will not be granted to sit in the examination hall. Those students who don’t have any photograph of them on their admit card must bring 2 passport size photographs along with their ID proof to the examination centre.
UPPSC regularly conducts this preliminary examination in order to shortlist the candidates for admission to the main examination (written). The Candidates have proposed 831 vacancies by the commission under general recruitment through examination. The final selection will be done on the basis of interview and total sum marks obtained in main (written) examination.
