UPSC Civil Service Main 2019 Admit Card Hall Ticket, Released @ upsc.gov.in

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards of the Civil Services (Main) Exam 2019 today, August 31, 2019. All the candidates who have successfully cleared the UPSC CSE (Prelims) 2019 can download the same from the official website of the commission i.e. upsc.gov.in

UPSC Civil Service Main 2019 Admit Card

According to the preliminary result, 11,845 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the UPSC Civil Services (Main) 2019 examination. The Civil Services (Main) Exam 2019 is scheduled to be held from September 20 to September 29, 2019. The Main Written Exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e. in the morning from 09:00 am to 12 noon and in the afternoon from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

Steps to download the UPSC Civil Services (Main) 2019 admit card:

  • Log on to the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in
  • On the homepage, look for the link which says “UPSC Civil Services 2019 Main Exam e-Admit Card’
  • Enter your registration number/roll number along with the password
  • Click on submit
  • UPSC Civil Services (Main) 2019 admit cards will be displayed on the screen
  • Download it and take a print out of the same for future reference.

The candidates should carry their UPSC Admit Card for CPAF along with the Photo ID Card and carry two (2) identical photographs (one photograph for each session).

The main examination will consist of a written examination and an interview test.

UPSC Civil Service Mains exam will consist of 2 qualifying papers, one is Indian Language and other is English. Both the paper will be of 300 marks. There will be four General Studies paper each consists of 250 Marks AND 2 optional subjects of 250 marks each. All the papers will have essay-type questions. The total marks for the written exam are 1750.

Candidates who will qualify Mains Exam will be called for UPSC Civil Service Personality Test. The interview will carry 275 marks, with no minimum qualifying marks.

Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the main examination (written part as well as interview) would determine their final ranking. Candidates will be allotted to the various Services keeping in view their ranks in the examination and the preferences expressed by them for the various Services and posts.
