US Open 2016: Stan Wawrinka stuns Novak Djokovic to win final Game

The 31-year-old Stan Wawrinka won the US Open title by thrashing the No. 1 seed Novak Djokovic on Sunday. The No. 3 seeded Stan Wawrinka stunned the world by becoming the oldest man to claim the title in last 46 years.

The match went for nearly for long four hours and lot of drama and action were seen. And, a moment came when Stan won the third Glam Slam Title by 6-7 (1/7), 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.

Although match took some serious turns when Novak called up the medical staff for twice during the timeouts and it was looking, this match will take another turn but Wawrinka holds his nerve till last and finally won it.

Stan became the oldest men to win the US Open title after, the Ken Rosewall won the title at the age of 35 years in 1970. Meanwhile, the final started with the Star Spangled Banner, a poignant performance on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Novak was playing his 21st Grand Slam final. Although, his 21 Grand Slam title did not go in the same way as he would think.

Meanwhile, there were a couple of Hollywood superstars who were present there.
