Trista Fullerton, 36, of Rogers, Arkansas was arrested for allegedly taking her 8 kids out of foster care. The kids were eventually found safe and sound in California on October 22nd. A concerned citizen called the police after seeing a woman acting strange in the parking lot. According to Anderson police, Fullerton, who had recently lost custody of her kids, took a harrowing road trip through multiple states, eluding authorities and traveling to northern California with her children. According to police, Fullerton and her children were traveling in a garbage-filled Dodge pickup that had an Arkansas license plate. Responding officers found the vehicle parked in the lot. Upon identifying the vehicle, police discovered that Fullerton had an active warrant in Arkansas for her arrest. The warrant was for her alleged abduction of her eight children after she lost custody of them from their foster homes.

After Fullerton was arrested at the scene, she was booked into Shasta County jail on an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic battery. Fullerton has a criminal record dating back to 2004. After Fullerton was booked, investigators asked her about her two other children. They were later found at a home in Cottonwood with the help of Shasta County sheriff’s officials. It is unclear how long Fullerton spent with the children after the alleged abductions. The children were eventually returned to their adoptive parents in Arkansas. According to reports, the two girls were abducted from a Burger King in Atlanta, Georgia. The children were later found safe and unharmed. Kylie Horne, 11, and Kylann Harper, 4, were reported missing from their Columbus home on Sunday October 15. They were last seen leaving the Burger King at 11:50 AM on Veterans Parkway. The Columbus Police Department released an update on Monday October 16 shortly after an Amber Alert had been issued for both children.

The Columbus Police Department confirmed that Horne had been found safe and that Harper had been found in the Southern Georgia area at about 11:30 AM. Spires was named a suspect in her abduction case along with Harrell. Spires had at least one prior criminal conviction for a burglary charge involving breaking and entering a residential home.
