The retired American stand-up comedian and actor, Bill Cosby has come back to his house from prison on Wednesday within two hours after the high court of Pennsylvania reversed his case of sexual assault, the court released him who is also known as “American Dad”. The defense lawyer who took away the case in the court was leap by his precursor’s agreement not to charge Bill Cosby. According to the sources, Cosby, who is 83-years-old provides more than two years from 3 years to 10 years sentence in the prison of the state near Philadelphia.
If we talk about the case so, Bill Cosby was marked guilty of drugging and molesting Andrea Constand, who is an ex-basketball player in 2018. Mr. Bill Cosby is known for this best comedy because he was a stand-up comedian in America and begins his career after appearing in the TV show in 1980 named “The Cosby Show” and since then, he was known as “American Dad”. Many women have accused Cosby of sexual assaulting but the case was started against the incident of Ms. Constand. Along with this, his case was also seen as a moment of the MeToo movement in the year 2018. Where he faced many problems across the nation from various people.
On this Wednesday, the high court of Pennsylvania assumed that there was just a process of violation because the lawyer of Mr. Cosby made an agreement with the preceding prosecutor of the state that he will not be charged in the case. After being released from prison, Cosby was feeling tired and weak because he was slowly waiting for the media outside his home after coming from prison. At the moment, he did not say anything but he was just dependent on his lawyer’s team and Andrew Wyatt (spokesman) for replying to the question of the media.
Why and What Cosby Was Accused Of?
According to the reports, Cosby was found blameworthy against Ms. Constand on the three assault incidents. In his time, Constant met Cosby in 2002 when Cosby was working in the Temple University in Philadelphia and found Comedian Cosby as a guidance figure. Later, she testified in the trial that how Cosby molested and drugged her at his home and became frozen at his home in 2004 year.
Later, she came further regarding to this and reached to the police for being assault by Cosby in 2005 but the Bruce Castor, who was a state prosecutor did not charge him in this case. After that, she put allegations on comedians for slander and made a settlement with an agreement in around 2006.
When the news came into the limelight, many more women came forward in 2014 and 2015 with the same allegations of assault by comedians. After the judgment, many people showed their love on the Internet for Cosby but maybe, Ms. Constand was disappointed on the judgment of the case.
