The American electronic cigarette company, Juul Labs is facing a lawsuit on a company which is brought to them by the Attorney General of North Carolina, Josh Stein by the state in 2019. The suits claimed on the company that they are producing some products for children and teenagers and it was said by State Attorneys of N.C on Monday, June 29. After this lawsuit, Juul Labs has concurred to pay almost $40 million and also planning to make some changes in their business practices. Along with this, the company will change its strategies to avoid marketing for underage people.
Under the hood, the company has also banned taking under the age of 35 in their marketing and sharing their product with others. Also, Juul Labs have been prohibited to advertise their products near the school and they can not even use flavours in their product which is also the most popular product among young age people, children or teenagers. Many more things have been banned on the company and they can not even use this such kind of materials or products in their producing things. The company uses the atomizer nicotine’s salts in their products which is mostly taken from the leaf of tobacco and supplied by using the cartridges.
