Indrani Mukerjea has been granted bail on Wednesday, 18th May 2022. No sooner did she get out of the jail than there was series of questions asked by the media personalities who all were waiting for her outside the jail. As soon as she got out of jail than the present media personalities started asking Indrani Mukerjea about her feeling after coming out of detention. Supreme Court f India granted her bail on Wednesday; thereafter, she was released on bail on the same day.

In response to the question asked by the reporters related to her feeling after coming out of prison, she responded by saying that she was feeling happy as she was seeing the open skies after years. She said “I will talk about my new learning in prison in my another interview. But there is empathy and forgiveness that I believe in.”
As far as we know, Indrani Mukerjea has been given bail in the amount of Rs 2 lakh. She is the key accused as well as the convicted of the murder of her daughter named Sheena Bora. Sheena Bora was found dead in a pit on the outskirts of Mumbai. Sheena was the daughter of Indrani from her previous marriage.
