The 56-year old artist, author, actor, and TV host of America, Ty Pennington has finally proposed to his one-year-long girlfriend, Kellee Merrell today, that is, on 28th July 2021, Wednesday at his residence in Palm Coast, Florida. The ‘Trading Spaces’ reality shows fame actor and HGTV host took over his Instagram account and shared his engagement news among his friends, family and admirers. He posted an adorable picture over his social media account, “@thetypennington” and captioned it, “It’s the ‘yes’ for me…”
Who is Kellee Merrell?
He continued to say more about his relationship with Merrell and stated that he always admired Kelle from a distance for years. She is one of the kindest and beautiful souls inside and out. He is lucky that he crossed paths with her at the right moment. Pennington never got married, however, after meeting Merrell, he changed his mind and he is extremely happy that he waited for the right person. His wait was definitely worth it, as he finally got his soul mate in Merrell.
The 33-year old, Kelle Merrell is a social media manager by profession and resides from Vancouver city in British Columbia, Canada. Merrell and Pennington crossed paths in the year 2010, while the latter one was shooting a show in Toronto. Their first meeting was good, and from thereon, they kept in touch with each other. However, it was at the beginning of 2020, when the two of them started to work on their relationship and were quarantined together because of the Wuhan virus pandemic followed by the lockdown.
Kellee seems to be a socially private person, as she does not have an Instagram profile neither she has any other social media profile on any other platform. It has been reported that they are in between renewing their 19th-century home, which they purchased together in the Savannah city in Georgia. In fact, the Instagram picture posted by Pennington over his Instagram account is taken in Savannah, Georgia, where Merrell’s hands are showing her beautiful ring on her index finger, testifying that she and Pennington are officially engaged.
Both Merrel and Pennington has an age gap of 23 years, however, as per Pennington, Age is just a number and it certainly does not matter. He is glad that he waited for the one.
