Yeh Risha Kya Kehlata Hai fame actor, Karan Mehta has been arrested by the Mumbai police on 1st June 2021, that is, on Tuesday. As per the reports, the wife of the actor, Nisha Rawal filed a complaint against him in the Goregaon Police station on 31st May 2021. It has been reported, that the couple was fighting over something, however, the quarrel turned severe, and Nisha went to the police and filed a complaint against Karan. At present, Karan has been released on Bail. When the actor was asked about the whole incident, he said that Nisha has filed a fake and fraudulent case against him and the reality is far away from what it is actually presented.
According to him, he was talking with his mom over the phone, when Nisha came out of nowhere and started abusing him, his family including his mother, father and brother. He further stated that she started shouting aloud and started creating a scene. She did not stop there and as of matter of fact, she also spat on him. The actor further stated that he asked her to go out and not to create a fuss. However, the latter one frightened him saying that look what I will do now.
Then, she furiously went out and started hitting her forehead on the wall and falsely accused him of doing all this stuff to her, wherein, it was in fact, Nisha who did it herself. In May 2021, it was rumoured that the couple is having some serious problems with each other and their marriage is starting to fall apart. The duo has a four-year-old son named Kavish and they have appeared in various reality shows together, including Nach Baliye.
However, every time when the couple was asked about the same, they both denied it and said that it is just some false rumours and everything is perfectly fine with them. In fact, in an interview, the actor said that he has no idea what exactly started these rumours abruptly. He himself saw the news on Tv and thereafter, people have been calling him and asking him about the same.
Not only the actor denied the news, but Nisha herself also denied all these rumours. Previously, Karan was filming for his upcoming show, “Mawaan Thandiyan Chawan” in Punjab, however, the crew and production team of the show was diagnosed positive for the Wuhan Virus pandemic and therefore, he came back to Mumbai last month.
However, what exactly went wrong between the couple is still unknown to anyone. There have been several conjectures that the couple started facing problem in their marriage a couple of months ago. Nonetheless, they still tried to work on it, however, when Karan went for shooting for his show in Punjab, the gap did not allow them to spend plenty of time together and in fact, added more misunderstandings between them.
