One of the popular Australian singers, and also the lead vocalist of ‘5 Seconds of Summer’, Luke Robert Hemmings took over his Instagram account, “@lukehemmings” on Tuesday, 8th June 2021, and announced his engagement with his girlfriend, “Sierra Deaton”. The singer and his girlfriend have been dating each other for about a years and finally, Luke worked up the nerve to propose to his best friend. The singer posted a couple of pictures on his Instagram in which the singer can be seen proposing to Sierra by getting on his knees and placing the ring on his girlfriend’s ring finger.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, a smile can be seen on Sierra’s face while accepting Luke’s proposal. Apart from the picture, Luke also wrote “With quivering hands but a heart full of love, I finally proposed my best buddy and companion earlier this year.” The singer further wrote that he loves her and he cannot imagine his life without her. Besides, her friend and family including their fans are extremely happy for the couple and sending their blessings via social media. Before dating Luke, Sierra has dated Alex for 8 years, however, later the duo broke up with each other by mutual consent, as things did not work out between them.
Both Luke and Sierra live together in a living relation in Los Angeles and the two are professional musicians by profession. While Luke on hand is the lead vocalist of the infamous Pop band of Australian named, “5 Seconds of Summer”, Sierra on the other hand is also a singer and has a stage name, ‘Essy’. Meanwhile, she also provided background vocals for the 5SOS. On 8th September 1991, Sierra along with Alex took part in the popular competition TV show of America, The X Factor US as a duo and became the winner of the show.
Sierra is half Asian, or Vietnamese to precise and half British and is born and brought up in Orlando, Florida. She is raised by her mother Vu Deaton and her Father Dr John Deaton and also has an elder sister named, Lara Deaton. The Asian-British decent singer also took over her Instagram account, “@sierradeaton” and shared the good news with her friends, family and fans. She also wrote that it was pleasant keeping this a secret for so long, however, her heart is nearly exploding at the seams. Cannot wait forever. She and Luke’s fans are extremely happy for them and they are praying and showering them with nothing but an overflow of love and joy.
