News is circulating on all the internet with maximum shares where a worker of the most popular OTT platform named is involved and the whole matter started on 11th October 2021, where The Verge stated that a Netflix engineer named Terra Field was discontinued from the job after Terra commenting on Dave Chappelle’s The Closer, which is a controversial Netflix special. A Netflix spokesperson next verified that Field was not discontinued from the job as of her tweets but somewhat because of her behaviours in the office. The meaning for all this is bound to Dave Chappelle’s special which was released on 5th October 2021 and the stand-up enclosed numerous remarks that were regarded as indifferent on matters particularly associated with the LGBTQ+ society. Chappelle’s tardiest brought sharp critique from GLAAD and from David Johns, who is the executive director of The National Black Justice Coalition.

As per the statement of The Verge, Terra and two other workers were discontinued from the job after they supposedly attempted to visit a director-level conference to which all of them were not welcomed. Then, Terra can come back to her office after her postponement period concludes. Moreover, an intimate Q&A report obtained by The Verge involved a report from Netflix’s co-CEO Ted Sarandos in which it is stated that “The internal memo also concluded that the streaming giant would not remove Chappelle’s controversial special”.

Talking about who is Terra Field then Terra is a senior software engineer who served herself in Netflix’s cloud infrastructure and she got the promotion in the month of April after serving herself as a senior DevOps engineer on Netflix in the year 2019.
