Now, investigators are looking for the five women and one man in this case who was captured by surveillance cameras after they were seen leaving her apartment. It has been cleared that she was murdered and some of her remains were found in a suitcase last month. Now, police have been questioning the ex-boyfriend of Dasia Johnson in the connection with the woman’s murder. Well, the police haven’t disclosed the name of her ex-boyfriend yet. Dasia Johnson was found inside her Brooklyn apartment on September 21, 2022, after her relatives got concerned after they were unable to contact her.
Now, the investigation of this case is underway and police are trying to locate those six people who were seen in the surveillance footage leaving Johnson’s apartment. Sources believe that all those six people were inside the apartment after she was murdered and dismembered. Still, police haven’t found the reason behind the killing of the woman and no arrests had been made yet in the homicide of D’Asia Jonson, of Linwood Street of East New York. Also, police have released photos over the weekend of five women and one man whom they called might be witnesses in the case.
On September 21, security went to Johnson’s room to check in the sixth-floor apartment after not seeing her for about a month, law enforcement sources. Later, security called the cops to gain access. He also told that he and another man left the apartment once the security officers walked away. The footage was captured and now, police are trying to locate them. One of the men was seen carrying a black duffel bag. Police also urge people if they have any kind of information regarding to the killing, they can contact them.
