What Happened Near White House?
This incident took place on Thursday night when a couple was celebrating their 56th anniversary and two people are also there in the park suddenly a lightning strike came and killed the couple with the third one. The strike came before 7 PM in the centre of the park and as we know lightning strike only tall subjects and when the trees got struck the electricity is produced on the ground as said by National Weather Service. The people who died were killed by the ground current as the current hit them with the high point.

Who Were Killed Near White House?
There were four people who got affected by this lightning of which three died and one is now taking treatment in the hospital. The people who died in this incident are Donna Mueller who was 75 years old and a retired teacher and her husband James Mueller who had a business and was 76 years old. They both did love marriage and now they die together and they had no connection with the other two people. The third person was 29 years old and died but the fourth one is now under treatment.
People are now commenting on this news and giving him tribute and the family has handed over their body. Karine Jean the White House press secretary also gave a statement that we are saddened by this incident which took the lives of people. We also pray for the one who is struggling for his life. The lightning strike was so horrible and as per a report, there is an average of 23 people who died because of lightning strikes every year. In 2020 two guardsmen were injured and in 1998 a woman was badly injured due to this lightning. We give condolences to their family who lost their loved ones.
