In its short life, post this social media sector launched, the social media has redefined how people interact, communicate and share with family, friends and the world.

Friendster was launched in 2002, with MySpace was unveiled around in 2003. But, 2004 marked the discovery of Facebook that is regarded as the king of the Social Media.

Twitter displays us how to express ourselves in 140 characters or less, and Instagram and Flickr which also permit us to give us the opportunity to post all the videos and photos which people just love and share these with love.

The day is meant to recognize social media’s “ever-evolving impact on communications.”
