WrestleMania 37 Matches & Preview
As of now, two matches have been scheduled to be taking place on WrestleMania 37 and those matches are:
- For the Universal championship, Roman Reigns (c) will be up against Edge
- In the SmackDown women’s championship, Sasha Banks (c) will be competing against Bianca Belair
Talking about the previous edition, i.e. WrestleMania 36, it was held on March 25 and 26, 2020 and was aired on April 4 and 5, 2020. Here’s the preview/ result of WrestleMania 36:
First Day (Result): April 4, 2020
- In the Singles match, Cesaro defeated Drew Gulak; And Elias defeated King Corbin in another match.
- In the Women’s tag team championships, Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross defeated Kabuki Warriors (c)
- In the Raw women’s championship, Becky Lynch (c) defeated Shayna Baszler
- Sami Zayn (c) defeated Daniel Bryan at the Intercontinental championship.
- John Morrison (c) defeated Kofi Kingston and Jimmy Uso at the Triple threat ladder match for the SmackDown tag team championships.
- For the No Disqualification match, Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins in that match.
- In the Universal championship, Braun Strowman defeated Goldberg (c)
- The Undertaker defeated AJ Styles in the Boneyard match.
Second Day (Result): April 5, 2020
- In the three different Singles matches, Liv Morgan defeated Natalya; Aleister Black defeated Bobby Lashley; Otis defeated Dolph Ziggler, respectively.
- In the NXT women’s championship, Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley (c)
- The Last man standing match was won by Edge after defeating Randy Orton
- In the Raw tag team championships, The Street Profits (c) won the match by defeating Angel Garza & Austin Theory
- Fatal Five-way elimination match for the SmackDown women’s championship was won by Bayley (c) after defeating Tamina, Naomi, Sasha Banks and Lacey Evans, respectively.
- In the Firefly Funhouse match, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeated John Cena
- The WWE championship won by Drew McIntyre after defeating Brock Lesnar (c)
WrestleMania 37 Schedule & Venue
WWE WrestleMania 37 is a two night event which was initially scheduled to be held on March 28, 2021 and was planned to be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. However, the on-going COVID-19 pandemic situation in California made it doubtful that the event may be held there with in-person spectators or not. Therefore, the dates were postponed to launch the event and now it is going to be held on April 10 and 11, 2021 at the venue of Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
