Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro to Launch on March 12 Specs Features Images

Xiaomi has confirmed via a tweet that it is going to launch its Redmi Note 9 series smartphones in India on March 12, 2020. While the smartphone maker has only mentioned the series, it is expected launch 2 new smartphones in the series viz. the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro which are successors to the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro, respectively.

According to the teaser image released by Xiaomi on Twitter on Monday, the Redmi Note 9 series will come with a quad rear camera setup. The phones appear to have a square-shaped camera setup. Alongside the camera setup, the image suggests a faster refresh rate possibly 90Hz display on the new Redmi Note-series phones. The image also reveals that the phone might come with a Type-C port, headphone jack and speaker grille.

On the front of the phone, there could be a punch-hole design, but the location of the punch-hole remains unknown. Reports also suggest the phone could come with a 5,000mAh battery and up to 6GB of RAM and 12GB of storage on its highest variant.

As we know that Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series is popular for its affordability, the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro are expected to come under the price bracket of Rs. 20,000.

Redmi Note 9 Pro

Information about more features are not yet available, however, the Mi.com website and Amazon India reveals some features of the device such as new design, processor, and gaming features. It also promotes a fast charging technology on the latest Redmi Note models.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain in January announced its partnership with Qualcomm to launch one of the first Snapdragon 720G phones in the country and the Redmi Note 9 models is expected to be the one.
