Muslim Religious Leader & Scholar Yusuf al-Qaradawi Dies Aged 90:- Yusuf al-Qaradawi, the chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, died on the 26th of September 2022. He had been an Islamic Scholar, a doctor, and a professor. Yusuf al-Qaradawi used to be described as a “moderate Islamist.”  He has been an inspiration to many who wish to take their family away from poverty, as he was born into a poor family. As Yusuf al-Qaradawi had grown, he had lost his father. Yusuf al-Qaradawi was only at the age of 96 when he died. However, the cause of the demise of Yusuf al-Qaradawi is still not known yet. Yusuf al-Qaradawi had done the course of the diploma in Arabic Language and Literature in the year 1958 from the Advanced Arabic Studies Institute.

Who Was Yusuf al-Qaradawi?

Yusuf al-Qaradawi was an Egyptian Islamic scholar. He was born on the 9th of September 1926. Yusuf al-Qaradawi was born in Saft Turab, Kingdom of Egypt. He had been the chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars. Along with being an Islamic Scholar, he had also been a professor and a doctor. There are around 120 books that were written by Yusuf al-Qaradawi, and those books had also got to be published.  Yusuf al-Qaradawi gained more popularity when he had been in his program named al-Hayah (“Sharia and Life”). His show had been broadcasted on Al Jazeera. Great politicians such as Ibn Taymiyya, Ibn Qayyim, Sayyid Rashid Rida, Hassan al-Banna, Abdul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadwi, Abdul A’la Maududi, and Naeem Siddiqui have worked for Yusuf al-Qaradawi.

Yusuf al-Qaradawi was a very religious person. He had read and memorized the whole Quran when he was only nine years old. Later Yusuf al-Qaradawi joined the Institute of Religious Studies at Tanta and then he completed his graduation there after nine years of studies. In the year 1953, Yusuf al-Qaradawi completed his graduation from the Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

There are a lot of people who have put their tributes on social media platforms, and on the internet for the Islamic Scholar. He had always liked to visit different places in the entire world. Even Yusuf al-Qaradawi had been in support of democracy in the world of Muslim people and anywhere else, where people wish to do things (legal and acceptable by the world) of their own. Yusuf al-Qaradawi is always going to remember by all his family members, friends, and the entire authority of the International Union of Muslim Scholars.
