UP CPAT 2016 Ayush Counselling To Start From 26 Oct complete schedule

The counselling of Combined Pre-Ayush Test (CPAT) 2016 to medical seats in UP will begin tomorrow.  Uttar Pradesh Medical Education Department has released a notification stating that the CPAT 2016 counselling begins in two days. The AYUSH entrance exam – CPAT 2016 was held on 25th September and the results were also announced in the beginning of this month.

The Director General of Medical Education has finally released the schedule the counselling of CPAT 2016 through its official website. Director General – Prof. Dr. V.N. Tripathi said that the government and private colleges (Ayurveda, Unani and Homeopathy) who have got the approval, will be a part of the admission process.

The candidates who have secured rank between 1 to 600 in CPAT 2016, can participate in the first day of counselling on 26th October 2016. Those candidates having rank between 601 to 3000 would have to participate in counselling on 27th October 2016 and the rest of the candidates on 28th Oct 2016.

For registration one day prior to the counselling, all candidates would have to report to the Counselling Center – Tele Medicine Center, Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow.

The registrations would be open from 25th Oct 2016 to 27th Oct 2016 at 10 am to 5 pm and the candidates are required to bring all their related documents for verification. The counselling fee could be deposited only after the successful verification of the documents and the candidates would be given registration slip to appear for the counselling.

The participating candidates are required to deposit Rs. 500 as counselling fee, while the security fee for government colleges is Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 20,000 for private colleges. The fee can be deposited through the demand draft. The counselling fee is non-refundable. After the completion of counselling process, the security fee will be adjusted in the balance fee or refunded.

There are a total of 2,030 seats in BAMS course in 8 government and 20 private colleges. 630 seats in BUMS course in 2 government and 10 private colleges and 500 seats in BHMS course  in 7 government and 2 private colleges to be filled through CPAT 2016.
