The much-awaited announcement for the Dearness Allowance (DA) is going to happen soon and this will be seriously good and amazing news for all the Central government employees who are eagerly waiting for their Dearness Allowance (DA). The information is that the announcement regarding this will be happening soon on 26th June because the meeting regarding this si going on and anytime the news about the DA will be revealed by the officials. The National Council of JCM supervised by Central Government Employees (CGS) and central government officials of the Ministry of Finance and Department of Personnel and Training are catalogued for a meeting on Saturday and the main purpose for the meeting is to be the ominous DA arrears.
This meeting was scheduled earlier but due to the ongoing pandemic which is ruling the world the meeting gets postponed and now, the three instalments of dearness wage for central government employees and DR for dependents, which was due from 1st January 2020 to 1st July 2020, and to 1st January 2021, were suspended in imitation of the pandemic. The staffs are persisting to grab the advantage of two years DA straight because the DA of the central government staffs had risen by 4 per cent from the month of January in last year.
After that, it increased by 3 per cent in the second half of the last month which is June 2020 and now, in the month of January this year, the DA grew once over with a total of 4 per cent. After seeing these statistics it looks like that it has increased by 28 per cent in the last two years and all the wages are still not paid to the employees. As we all know that the minimum pay of central employees is around Rs 18,000 and around 15 per cent DA is assumed to be paid along with the salary by which it looks like that the salary can be increased up to Rs 2700 per month while talking about monthly basis then it goes up to Rs 32,400.
The politics in this matter is started and the Congress party stated on Saturday and correctly hits the government for not paying the DA rejected last year because of the ongoing pandemic and calls this as ruthless and uncaring and they demand from the government to immediately pay the wages to the employees.
