To bring the proper transparency in Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) recruitment, the state government of Andhra Pradesh announced the procedure of the selection process. On the order of June 26, the Chief Secretary, Aditya Nath Das said,” After the Government’s careful examination of the matter, to maintain the transparency of the exam, the Government orders to dispense the interviews of all candidates of the APPSC examination”. While after hearing this news, it has also viral on social media and many students are thinking about this new rule of Government.
He added that because of this decision, our aim to gain the complete trust of the competing applicants in the selection process of the exam. Along with this, the rule also comes for the students and because of it, there will be no more interviews for some popular examinations such as Group I, II, and some others. However, the rule will available for all the APPSC exams and recruitment notifications that have been issued from Saturday and beyond.
This order is released to kick out the interviews from all exams of APPSC, which was decided on October 18, 2019, in the meeting to reform into the conduct of the examination of APPSC. As per the scheme and syllabi for the recruitment by APPSC for some various posts are necessary and that was issued through G.O. Ms. No. 103 on the date of February 3, 1967, by the Government.
The Government took a decision with the help of G.O.Ms. No. 420 was dated by July 22, 2011, and also announced that the interviews for all the posts despite State service and those posts which is available for the executive in nature. Along with, skills of articulation and also, the public interface are necessary.
According to the G.Os issued in the year 2016 and 2017 separately, the APPSC has also ordered more recruitments. After that, the APPSC endorsed that interviews will not be taken in the future recruitments of APPSC.
