LIVE Election Results 2019: Haryana Election 2019 Results, Maharashtra Exit Poll :- Assembly poll results 2019: On Thursday afternoon according to the Election Commission’s website, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has won Maharashtra with ally Shiv Sena but at the same time has failed to get a simple majority in Haryana. In Maharashtra, BJP has won in five seats as well as it is leading in 97 seats which is much lower than the 122 seats that it had won in the previous state elections that was held in the year 2014.

Assembly Election Result 2019

The date for announcing the results for Maharashtra as well as Haryana Assembly elections was scheduled for today, Thursday (24 October), and the counting of votes was already started in the morning at 8 am on Thursday and the result is likely to be announced by 5 pm by the Election Commission. Mainly, the leads would foretell the result by noon, but the counting of votes is only going to be completed by the evening.

On the other hand, BJP did not get the definite wins that it had expected in the two states which they have ruled for five years. However, at the same time, Congress considerably bettered its tally in Haryana, but has approved the front seat to its partner, the Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra.

Deepender Hooda, who is the son of former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda as well as former Congress MP had on 19 October tweeted projecting that Haryana is going to teach Khattar government a lesson. “Mere iss tweet ko save karna. Haryana Khattar sarkar ke ghamand ko todne ja raha hai (Save this tweet of mine. Haryana is going to shatter Khattar government’s arrogance),” Hooda had tweeted.

Maharashtra Assembly Election 2019 Party Wise Results

The BJP along with Shiv Sena got over 160 in the 288-seat Maharashtra Assembly. The performance of BJP was much muted as compared to that in the year 2014. The leads show that the BJP was ahead in about 100 seats, which is way below the 122 it got in 2014. The Sena was also ahead in 64, one more than the 63 and it got last term when it challenged all 288 seats on its own.

The Shiv Sena has seized on this great prospect to demand a ’50:50 formula’ deal with the BJP. Leader Sanjay Raut also stated that the combine would certainly form the government, but would want a ’50:50′ arrangement in power.

The Congress-Nationalist Congress Party combine were gaining lead in about 100 seats, having gained more than 15 since the last time of the election. The NCP has also emerged as the big brother in the alliance.

Haryana Election Results 2019 Constituency Wise

Now coming to Haryana, the BJP’s tally has been fallen short of the figure of 46 in the 90-seat Assembly. The Congress has also managed 32 so far, up 17 seats since last time.

Addressing his first press conference since the results in the Maharashtra elections turn out to be clearer after the early trends, NCP chief Sharad Pawar stated that the results are also a great proof that people don’t like arrogance of power. “When you detach yourself from ground then people do not welcome it. Many leaders crossed their limits to make statements in campaign.”
