Delhi Govt offers promotion to Olympic bronze-medallist Sakshi Malik’s father

The 23-year-old Sakshi Malik who hails from Rohtak, Haryana won the Bronze Medal in wrestling has made the whole country proud as  became the first athlete to bring the medal in India from Rio Olympics 2016.

The credit must go to Sakshi and her parents who gave her such parenting, that helped her to nourish be the young sensation of India.

And, just to promote such parenting that is given the Sukhbir Malik to her daughter Sakshi Mali, the Delhi government has proposed to give the promotion to Sakshi’s father.

Sukhbir Malik is currently working in the DTC department, which is a transports department of Delhi. Manish Sisodia who is the Delhi Deputy Chief Minister proposed that SukhmirMalik must be promoted in his department.

Manish Sisodia requested Transport Minister Satyendra Jain to promote SukhirMlik, who is a conductor in DTC’s busses. Manish told media wing that ” “One of our colleagues (Sakshi’s father Sukhbir Malik) while working as a conductor, created such an atmosphere for her daughter so that she could raise the honour of the nation.”

Manish Sisodia who will visit the Sakshi’s family at Rohtak on Saturday also added that apart from promoting Sakshi we should also promote parent like Sukhbir Malik, who gave birth to the pride of our nation.”

Meanwhile, Haryana Government has already announced to provide the sum of 2.50 crore Rs. to Sakshi Malik for her contribution to making not only Haryana but the whole country proud. Also, she will be provided with the government job in Haryana.

Well, all these incentives are necessary for an athlete in India, especially for the especially for the wrestler as this announcement will also promote other girls and their parents to make their daughter another Sakshi Malik.
