Surprisingly all buzz and hype got diverted because of the new release and that is very bad news for the makers of “AYM”. As you all know that this movie is one of the most awaited movies in Tamil cinema which collected very average bucks for the makers till now.

Also, as you all know that this movie is getting dominated by the demonization in India which is affecting the whole box office collection of all releases at the box office. The movie opened up with the good occupancy and collected very good bucks for the makers at very the first weekend of release.
Director Gautham Menon who wrote the story plot of this movie too said “This movie is a feel-good love story and a story of friendship. It is the story of a happy-go-lucky guy (played by Silambarasan) who is looking to do normal things in life but then, a situation is thrown at him and it changes everything”. People loved this flick but I think they all are busy in changing currency at the box office.

The movie completed the 2nd weekend at the box office and collected good bucks for the makers till now. As you, all know that the music is already getting a good response by the people because A.R Rahman composed the whole music of this movie. People are appreciating this flick a lot and that’s great.
AYM collected 5.50 Crore from the very first weekend of release and 10.20 Crore from the very first week of release. The second weekend went slow down for the movie because Kadavul Irukan Kumaru released at the box office and collected very rough amount of profit for the makers.
The movie collected very average bucks for the makers till now I think government’s decision to scrap Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 rupees that affected the box office collection of this movie. But I am sure that the upcoming days are going to be the very good deal for the movie for sure.
