This is the first time Vijay will be romance the talented actress Nithya Menon on screen, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Kajal Aggarwal, Vijay worked earlier before.

As per the poll fans and readers – says they preferred and love Vijay’s chemistry with – Kajal more instead of Samantha. So as per the result fans prefer Vijay and Kajal over Vijay – Samantha! Vijay – Kajal received 55% votes as opposed to 45% votes received by Vijay- Samantha.
There must be an incredible reason why fans prefer Kajal with Vijay more instead of Samantha, though the reason is unexplained.
However, technically we can say that Vijay looked good with both Kajal and Samantha equally as the duo is worked with Vijay so many times and part of the actors’ big films’ already in consecutive numbers.
This film Mersal will also mark the second collaboration of Vijay and Atlee. Their last movie Theri was hugely successful and one of Vijay’s highest grossing films. Mersal also happens to be Sri Thenandal Film’s 100th film. The music is composed by the living legend AR Rahman which is just full-on melodious. The film is all set to hit theatres on this Deepavali.
