It was hard for many fans to believe that the second season is arriving this year due to the arson attack at the Kyoto Animation which happened in 2019, in which Yasuhiro Takemoto also lost his life. This upcoming season has received a new title with slight changes and it will be premiered as ‘Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S’. Yasuhiro Takemoto was the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon season 1 director and as he was also among the people who died at the arson attack. Therefore, Tatsuya Ishihara has now taken the charge for this upcoming season. Even though, he is replacing Yasuhiro Takemoto as the director of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S, but Takemoto is also going to get the “series director” credit.

From the official trailer of ‘Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S’ which was released recently, we got some glimpse of the upcoming season and it has also given us some idea regarding the plot of its new season. We are going to see a new dragon named Ilulu in this latest season and it will be dressed with bikini bottom and a cape around her body and also have pink hair. Overall, the new character seems to be more like a human. We might also see the fight of Ilulu against Tohru. It seems like that the introduction of new character ‘Ilulu’ in the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S might cause several issues and problems to the heroes.

The cast members of Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S will be the same from the first season and all of them are going to reprise their roles and characters in this season as well. These characters alomg with their voice casts are as follows: Kobayashi (Mutsumi Tamura), Tohru (Yuki Kuwahara), Kanna Kamui (Maria Naganawa), Elma (Yuki Takada), Makoto Takiya (Yuichi Nakamura), Georgie Saikawa (Yuko Goto), Shouta Magatsuchi (Kaori Ishihara), Riko Saikawa (Emiri Kato), and Lucoa (Minami Takahashi). Also, the new character ‘Ilulu’ that we have talked about above in this article will be voiced by Tomomi Mineuchi.
