One of the top-most South Korean Girl groups, “BlackPink” has already become one of the most influential celebs across the globe, and with their back to back music albums and singles, the girl group is definitely making the temperature high here. Well, however, recently, YG Entertainment, which is one of the top-notch entertainment agencies in South Korea and also the record label for the BlackPink has recently made an announcement on 15th June 2021 that the group is soon commencing a new project, named, “4+1” in the honour of the 5th anniversary of Blackpink group debut.
Previously, Universal Music Japan made an announcement on 2nd June 2021, that the girl group will soon be releasing its brand new version of “The Album” in Japanese on 3rd August 2021, including the “Pretty Savage”, “Love Sick Girls” and You Never Know” in 12 different physical editions. Moreover, in regard to the “4+1” project, the group has revealed on their official Instagram account, “blackpinkoffical” that they are coming with “BlackPink The Movie”.
Black Pink The Movie, is directed under the direction of Oh Yoon Dong and Jung Su Yee and is produced in association with CJ 4DPlex Screenx Studio. The movie will be presented by YG Entertainment Inc and will feature the four band members of the Black Pink, named, “Jisoo”, “Jennie”, “Lisa” and “Rose” in the lead role. The group first made their debut in August 2016 with their single album, dubbed, “Square One”, thus, it is for sure, that the movie will release on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the group debut.

On 24th June 2021, the K-pop girl group, Blackpink took over their social media account and shared with their fans, that their movie is soon hitting the cinema screens on 4th August and 8th August 2021 respectively. In addition to this, additional screening dates are also available on their official website and therefore, the fans are required to check their local venues, as the dates of the screening might vary from location to location.
